David has worked closely with Vaillant UK for over 18 years as both an invited speaker at some Vaillant events as well as participating in research programs for new product development. The solar kit at the Vaillant and Glow-Worm Training Centres in Elland were both installed by David A. Farrer.
We are approved service engineers for all Vaillant appliances which we install and consequently can offer the full 5 year warranty with genuine Vaillant parts.
David is also a regular contributor to several professional magazines including the Registered Gas Engineer PHAM news and H&V News and is the author of numerous articles related to gas installation, service or repair.
Over weekends and bank holidays, if you have a VAILLANT warranty issue with a boiler that we have installed in the last 2 years, please call 0870 6060 777 to speak to the Vaillant service department.
If you have no water coming out of your taps or toilet and the outside temperature is below freezing, your incoming water main is probably frozen. Please call 07543 878883 and ask for Brian. He should be able to help.
If you have a Vaillant Ecotec showing an F22 fault, this is not a warranty problem, please open up both plastic taps on the underside of the boiler, watch as the pressure gauge rises to midway then turn both taps off. Press the reset button.
If you have a Vaillant Ecotec showing an F75, F28 or F29 fault in freezing weather, it is possibly a frozen condensate pipe. You can try to thaw this by pouring hot water over the pipe outside then press the reset button. This can also show as a drip from under the boiler (condensate water has backed up into the boiler case). If you can’t defrost the pipe, cutting the pipe off, where it exits the outside wall should suffice and the plastic waste pipe can be replaced at a later date.

Although Quotes are FREE we do have an attendance fee of £66.50 inc VAT for repairs. If we attend your property to diagnose a fault this will apply even if you choose not to go ahead with the repair.
The attendance fee covers the 1st 45 minutes. Any remaining time from an initial diagnosis inspection is carried over to when parts are fitted.
